Osakanaryori Uosei

Fall in love to this restaurant. Every dishes we ordered was absolutely delicious—perfectly prepared with such attention to detail. We ordered two sets menu (Maguro & Fried Barracuda and Horse Mackerel & Prawn fried set), Tako wasabi, fish cake and Ama ebi sashimi. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more memorable. Thank you for such a great dining experience.

Super nice host. Gave us a warm welcome. And the food … oh the food. Try the squid !!! The medium fat tuna, the shrimp … it was great !

One of the best restaurant I ever been to, the whole family enjoyed the meal, the sashimi served in whole fish is a must have ! Almost everything are fresh and tasty, would rate this shop the best in my 3 weeks trip across Japan this time

We stayed 3 nights in Hakone and dined here twice because we loved it so much the first time! Very friendly service, delicious and very fresh seafood. We ate the tuna and mackerel set the first time, the tuna was so fresh and tasty and the mackerel was large and beautifully crunchy. We also got a side of shishamo, they had a plump belly full of fish roe and so so delicious Second time we got the mackerel again because we loved it so much and also the grilled fish. Highly recommended dining here!

We decided to eat at this restaurant after reading the reviews and we are so glad we did. The lovely couple run this restaurant themselves, so the service can be a bit slow, but the food is outstanding and totally worth the wait. We were given some superb tea when we arrived. We had the seafood sashimi, fried horse mackerel and crumbed shrimp. They buy the fish fresh every day from the market. I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant.

Went to this small restaurant near to our AirBnB and we were very pleasantly surprised. This place known as Osakanaryori uosei お魚料理 うおせい. The 2 sets of lunch in the pictures below cost us just ¥3850, and the Sashimi and fried Fish were exceptionally fresh. Small place operated by Owner with his wife and mother-in-law, with their home just behind the small restaurant. They drive down to nearby Odawara Fish auction market everyday 5am to get their fish for each day. We will definitely visit this homely diner again before we leave Hakone.

Run by a couple! Love the experience here. Really homely! And the tuna donburi was out of this world I personally doesnt like tuna but this was amazing! The sweet shrimp is a must order imo. Could give the ikura bowl a miss as there are other better dishes. Highly recommend visiting this place!

4.5 stars for sure. Stumbled upon this amazing restaurant while walking from susuki grassfield. Very authentic restaurants with many locals frequenting it. Nice ambience and solid vibes. I ordered the Maguro + fried horse mackerel. I highly recommend the entire set. Tuna sashimi was so good and fresh. Fried mackerel was fried to perfection - crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Grilled Smelt was also full of roe and grilled to perfection with a nice Smokey flavor. The grilled saba was also really good. If you’re looking for something sweet, this saba has a great balance. The squid innards was slightly powering but should be great with sake, which we didn’t order. The only downside is potentially slow service because the restaurant is only run by a cute couple. It can get slow if it’s full. All in all, amazing lovely place. Would totally visit this if I ever drop by hakone again. Cheers to the wonderful couple!
